Ladakh is called the Land In The Clouds for a reason. On my journey from Himachal Pradesh to Leh, I had to clear five passes above 5000m of altitude on the highest motorable road in the world.
I crossed rivers on the back of my bike, had profound conversations with amazingly friendly locals, consumed illicit substances with the local police force, whitewater kayaked the Indus river, got saved from pulmonary oedema by a military doctor just to have approximately 400 selfies taken by every single soldier in the highest mountain military base in the world.
My next trip: I will be going to Mongolia as a tour guide on a motorbike trip with
